01 / Review & correct

A useful export should survive a closer look.

Document extraction can make mistakes. StatementFlip gives you a transaction preview so you can compare the result with the source and correct values before the file moves into your workflow.

03 / Your workflow

A better starting point for your work.

01

Read alongside the source

Keep the original PDF open and compare dates, descriptions and amounts. Focus on unusual rows, fees, refunds and page breaks.

02

Correct the extracted values

Make supported edits in the transaction preview, then save your corrections. The reviewed export should reflect the data you intend to use.

03

Validate the whole picture

Individual rows can look plausible while the total is wrong. Check completeness and balances as well as the values in each row.

04 / How it works

A few useful answers.

Does editing the preview change my original PDF?

No. Corrections apply to the extracted transaction data and export. Keep your original PDF as the source document.

Can I rely on the export without checking it?

You should verify the result before using it for bookkeeping or financial decisions. Automated extraction can miss or misinterpret data, especially in complex or scanned statements.

Which banks are supported?

We support many bank statement layouts and can attempt unfamiliar formats. Results depend on the PDF quality and layout. Try a statement with the free allowance and review the output before relying on it.
