01 / Monthly reconciliation

Give your month-end a repeatable starting point.

Reconciliation is about checking two records against each other. StatementFlip prepares the bank side as a spreadsheet; the matching and investigation stay in your own workflow.

03 / Your workflow

A better starting point for your work.

01

Define the month first

Check the statement period and account. Overlapping PDFs can introduce duplicate entries, so choose the source documents deliberately.

02

Compare the balances

Verify the opening and closing balances against the source PDF. Use your spreadsheet to investigate missing rows, reversed signs or timing differences.

03

Keep an exception list

Record unmatched items in your own workbook. Fees, pending payments and transfers may need a closer look before you close the period.

04 / How it works

From document to working data.

A few useful answers.

Does StatementFlip automatically reconcile my books?

No. It prepares bank transaction data for your reconciliation process. It does not connect to your ledger or automatically match invoices and transactions.

Can I combine several months?

You can convert separate statements and combine the checked exports in your own spreadsheet. Keep the periods identifiable and check for overlapping transactions.

Which banks are supported?

We support many bank statement layouts and can attempt unfamiliar formats. Results depend on the PDF quality and layout. Try a statement with the free allowance and review the output before relying on it.

Give your next statement a fresh start.
